Test Stand 301

Test stand 301 is an ambient test stand rated for conducting propulsion tests on engines and propulsion systems. It is currently used to support space shuttle aft module testing.

Test Stand 302

Test stand 302 is an insulated, 10-m-diameter, 11.6-m-high carbon steel altitude chamber, capable of holding propulsion systems up to approximately 6-m in diameter. It has three interior levels for test article access and is equipped with a 10 ton overhead crane.

Test Stand 303

Test Stand 303 is an insulated, 3.35-m-diameter, 11.9-m-long horizontal carbon steel altitude chamber capable of holding propulsion systems up to approximately 6-m in length and having a thrust of 4.5kN. It is capable of testing single engines or test articles with multiple engines up to 1000 lbf. total thrust.

Test Stand 328

Test Stand 328 is an ambient pressure stand and can accommodate multiple 4.5-kN-thrust engines firing in different axis. The stand is 29 ft. long, 27 ft. wide, and 20 ft. tall. It can accomodate a maximum test article of 24 ft. by 24 ft. by 14ft.

Test Stand 401

Test Stand 401 is a 10-m-diameter by 11.6-m-high carbon steel altitude chamber, capable of accommodating a vehicle with a thrust vector controlled, 110-kN-thrust engine firing vertically downward. The stand is capable of testing maximum test articles of 15 ft. by 15 ft. by 45 ft. It has three interior levels which can be reconfigured to meet test requirements.

Test Stand 402

Test Stand 402 is an ambient test stand, capable of accommodating a 270-kN-thrust engine, firing vertically downward into a water cooled deflector. The altitude chamber is 9.5 ft. in diameter by 25 ft. long. It is capable of testing hypergolic propellant engines up to 1000 lb. thrust.

Test Stand 403

Test Stand 403 is a 10.1-m-diameter by 11.6-m-high carbon steel altitude chamber, capable of accommodating a vehicle with a thrust vector controlled, 110-kN-thrust engine firing vertically downward. It can test articles of 15 ft. by 15 ft. by 45 ft. tall. It consists of three interior levels which can be reconfigured to meet test requirements.

Test Stand 405

Test Stand 405 is a horizontal firing stand, complete with a 2.9-m-diameter by 8-m-long altitude chamber that is capable of testing both solid propellant rocket motors up to 110 kN thrust and hypergolic engines up to 4.5 kN thrust.
